Well designed gators

The gators I just bought work wonderfully. Velcro fasteners keep the snow out while snowshoeing and they stay where you put them. Very happy with the purchase.

They work great! Worn over lace up ankle high boots and they worked as advertised, now snow or moisture got in my boots. Easy to put on and they stay up too.

A: They are not overly heavy. They would be fine to wear in spring and summer hiking. They would definitely protect your lower ankles and legs .
