Although this pepper mill worked well, I found it too tall. I was looking for just the grinder and didn't need the salt shaker, so I ended up returning it. I will continue to look for the small Trudeau pepper mill as this is an excellent brand.

Q: How do you refill the pepper? I bought this last year and absolutely love it but now that I’m trying to refill the pepper it’s not clear how too. Please help!

A: To open it, you have to unscrew the top adjustment knob and lift the stainless steel part with the adjustment knob, this allows to fill the salt. Then you lift the part that contains salt to fill the pepper. Hope this help!
