[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this for a few seasons. Love the 6 forward, 2 reverse speeds and adjustable chute from the rear of the machine. Machine has been bulletproof, and I would recommend it to anyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this to replace a 17 year old Yard Machines (same parent company) unit of similar size and power. The old unit was still running, but the belts were shot and it was getting pretty rusty. That Tecumseh engine though, I think will never die. So far I have only used this Troy Bilt machine in one snowstorm, but it performed very well. I think I prefer the more old fashion tire treads to these paddle variety, but they have worked OK so far. The engine starts right up and runs smooth and much quieter than my old one. They don’t give horsepower ratings anymore, but it seems comparable to my old one which had 8hp. I very much appreciate the taller shoot as it throws the snow higher and further. This is a benefit to me because I throw the snow over a retaining wall. I have read complaints about the plastic shoots versus the steel ones, but I never had a problem with my old one and this one seems of equal quality. I also appreciate the headlight and the skids/guards which my old one did not have Overall, very pleased.

Great Snow blower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Troy Bilt snow blower about 3 years ago. It has the tracks, it took some time to get used to the tracks vs tires when steering and backing up. This machine threw snow about 50 feet. I was impressed with the power. I cleared my driveway with no issues. This will climb over small snow banks. Cold hands? Heated handles are nice. And has a headlight, sun down is early so this is great. Thanks Troy Bilt !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 2625 2-stage snow blower 3 years ago. It has tackled a handful of 2 feet or greater snows since then, as well as several smaller ones. It has always started easily and handles the deep stuff reasonably well. I appreciate the larger engine displacement than what is more typically on 28" models. My only disappointments are that it doesn't handle drifts very well (just climbs on top of them), and the discharge chute control isn't as easy to operate as I had hoped. Other than that, I'm pleased with this unit.
