Annoying to remove weeds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nice thing about this trimmer is that it is detachable and has a good weight/carry ratio. The problem I had was that the weeds kept getting wrapped at the shaft and clogs the machine. I hate having to remove the grass every so often get it to work. Takes some time to stop and remove and continue to cut if it gets easily clogged.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Amazing power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had a weed wacker / trimmer work as wonderful as this one. Typically when I use other brands I am pulling line after line resetting the line It Takes Me 2 to 3 hours just to do an acre but not with the Troy-Bilt trimmer we received. I was able to complete our one acre yard in about 30 minutes! I am beyond ecstatic with this trimmer!

Best Weed Eater for the Money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Troy-Bilt Straight Shaft String Trimmer is easier to use than our former battery operated trimmer and has significantly more power. While it is a little heavier, it is still easy to use. I was not aware of this model before participating in the Viewpoints program and have fallen in love with it. I love that there are other attachments and have gone out and purchased the blower attachment. This makes my life easier when taking care of the yard. Instead of having to pull out a different piece of equipment, I can simply switch out the end and have a high powered blower. I not only would purchase the Troy-Bilt Straight Shaft String Trimmer, but also would highly recommend it.

great for a smaller suburban yard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own 1.5 acres with thick weeds. This product worked fairly well, even though it wasn't designed for thick weeds of my yard. I'm not sure if I prefer the straight shaft design. Pros: Clear starting directions Easy to start TrimmerPlus attachment capable .095" trim line Cons: 25cc lightweight engine could use a little more power I was impressed with the TB32 EC, as it was able to handle more than it was designed for. For comparison, we had been using an electric weed trimmer. I would be interested in a heavy duty version of this trimmer.
