Q: "UV Sensor" ??? I have never seen or heard of a water bottle with a UV Sensor before. What is the purpose of having an Ultraviolet Sensor? What is the benefit? What does it do?

A: The reason for the UV sensor is that when you are camping and potentially in the middle of no where you are not going to necessarily know what the UV index is. With the UV sensor you can find out what the index is so you will know how frequently you will need to apply sun screen to yourself and children. It is more for a sun safety feature then anything else.
