Q: Does this unit have to powered on every time you want to use it , or is it always on?

Q: This looks like the 2G unit based on the pictures. It this the 3G model or 2G model. 3G model say's 3G on the front decal of the unit.

Q: Does this device come with a vehicle kit to hook it up to the car's battery? Are instruction included? Do we need to purchase a magnetic case to install it in a hidden location within a vehicle?
