Great for cleanliness, would prefer less fragrance

A bit more smell / fragrance than I'd like (I've cut back the amount to <=2 on the measuring cup, even though the range is 1-5, but it still sometimes needs an extra rinse cycle). But it's definitely getting our clothes much cleaner. Chose this one based on Consumer Reports (was #3 out of ~50).

I have been buying tide laundry detergent for well over 40 years....pretty well exclusively. Recently bought a large container of ultra oxi. Not good. The smell was not to my liking; in fact I had to reach for my inhaler when sleeping in freshly washed pjs and sheets and pillow cases. Maybe I used too much, but I doubt it.... I will continue to use Tide, but not this stuff

They changed the smell..

I had purchased a giant bottle of this several times, it was the only detergent in the entire store including all other tide products whose smell I like. It was the perfect clean but subtle scent, and not sharp at all. The only reason I paid more for tide was because of the smell this had. They recently changed the smell and it’s horrible now, it smells sharp and as though there is lemon or something but fake and chemically. I have no idea why they had to ruin a good product, seems every brand does this. I really hope they bring the old scent back. Until then, I will keep buying cheap unscented detergent.
