Shakes like CRAZY

Installation was super easy. Fits 2 26” bikes with some maneuvering but wow does this thing ever rock left to right. Like extremely unstable. Would anyone have any suggestions to help with this issue?

Missing parts

I discovered at home that parts were missing in the box. A complete bag of hardware and an extension piece. Obviously someone had purchased before, took it home, removed needed parts, and returned it to the store. You need to check that all parts are returned before putting back on the shelf. Unfortunately, dishonest people do these things, and unsuspecting customers pay the price, inconvenience, and embarassment of returning a product with parts missing.

A: No idea. It's not about the type of car. You simply need to have a towing hitch on the car. The bike rack connects to your hitch. The rack itself is very handy. Quick and secure for my road and gravel bikes.

A: This bike rack system is designed for a trailer hitch receiver. They don't come from the factory with one. If you don't have a trailer hitch receiver on the car, then you could either add one, or buy a different style of bike rack such as trunk mounted or roof mounted rack compatible with the Civic.
