Just upgraded my roof rack and these are great. Got a 14 kayak and these workers great driving the boats 3 hours from NH to Maine.

Good rack, horrible instructions

Like the rack but the instructions are horrible. I’m usually pretty good at understanding instructions that use only pictographs but some of these are not obvious to the meaning. Nearly broke the rack unfolding the arm because it wasn’t clear to pull on a leaver. Please add an image of a hand pulling the leaver to open.

Easy to install but whistles a lot

Easy to install and has everything included. But it does whistle quite a bit even at low speeds (e.g. 30 mph). I like to drive with the moon roof open and this does detract from the driving experience. Different than an ambient rustle but more of a whistling. Design issue I think.

I have not used my roof rack system for kayaks as of yet. the weather has changed and would be to cool to go into the water. Assembly of the system was easy. I did take out all the parts and look at the instructions. Partially assembled the system before placing it on my vehicle. It was quite simple. Once i have used the system i can update my review or add a new review. On-line it should show exactly what comes with what kit and pictures should be available as a breakdown. I did purchase items that were already in the kit and spent extra money i did not have to.
