Q: I need a slimline box. I won't be using it for skis. Would the ski fittings eat up too much usable space?

Q: Hi What attachments did you use to secure to rack? I have a 2013 Mazda 3 skyactiv, hatchback.
4 years agoA: I have crossbar style roof racks on my car so the Thule box just clamped right onto those with no problem and no additional hardware needed. The Thule box has these talon-like claws that grip onto an existing rack, it’s super easy to take on and off, but you do need a rack with cross-bars for it to attach to.

4 years agoA: There's lots of room to adjust the length where the clamps fit. I have a 2020 honda pilot and had no troubles at all.

Q: Is the height 12.5 inches from the top of the cross bar? I have 12.5in clearance on my garage from the top of the cross bar. Fitting to a 2021 Rav4 with factory fitted cross bars
4 years agoA: I just measured mine and looks like 11.5" from the top of my crossbar, so you should be fine.

Q: Given where the connection points are located, as well as the bottom slats (for moving/adjusting the knobs) how far would it overhang the rear crossbar? I hope that makes sense. I’m trying to assess how far back it can sit & not interfere with the hatch

5 years agoA: You will need to check with your local Canadian Tore to be sure, but I believe most Canadian Tires are able to install it for you.
