Unreliable and Overpriced: Thinkware MicroSD Card

After an incident, I reviewed the video footage and discovered that there had been no recordings on the microSD card for the past few months. Upon further investigation, I determined that the Thinkware MicroSD card was faulty and couldn't even be formatted. I reached out to customer support, but they declined to provide warranty assistance, citing that the coverage period had expired after six months.
It is crucial for customers to have confidence in the products they purchase; unfortunately, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone to use this brand of microSD card. Despite their claims and higher price point, which supposedly ensures "Anti File Corruption," it appears to be nothing more than a deceptive marketing tactic. I suggest opting for other well-established brands of microSD cards that are available at a lower price point.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello there. We apologize for any inconvenience it caused you. We reviewed the SD card purchase and found out it was from November 2021. Please note that MicroSD cards are consumable items. Due to the stress and build-up of bad blocks (spaces on the memory card that files can no longer be stored at) due to constant overwriting cycles, MicroSD cards typically have a lifetime of 6 months to a year with regular formatting.

....Buyer be aware defective/faulty when I plug it into my pc and it is showing that there is no space even I recorded only 1 gb ! I formatted but still the same showing wrong space/size, will return it back

Hello Am, This is the Temporary System Files that are automatically loaded each time the SD Card is inserted into the Dash Cam. These files are necessary for the Dash Cam to function and cannot be deleted. As the Dash Cam records it will overwrite these files to ensure you have the full SD Capacity for video files, so this nothing to worry about.
