It really works!

Used it in Malaysia for 4 weeks as I like to sit on the verandah of mum’s house to read. It was previously impossible to escape the mosquito bites despite lavish application of mosquito repellant. Almost tempted to use it indoors as the mats resemble the ones used by locals in the indoor units sold over there.

Very pleased with this purchase. Does a good job of keeping the mosquitos at bay. Able to enjoy a nice scratch free evening on the deck! Had previously used another Thermacell product - this one is so much easier and looks great!

Q: How does this work when it's windy?? It seems like it won't be effective at all

A: Do not buy this product. It is supposed to repel mosquitoes. It does NOT work. I took mine back for a refund. We used it in an ideal trial situation -- at an Ontario Prov Park, where wind was almost non-existent (only a very very light breeze) and mosquitoes were in the area. It was supposed to cover 6 meters. We were within 2 meters of the device. A flash-light revealed that it was emitting a vapour at the top. As well we could smell it (supposed to be no smell). Mosquitoes continued to arrive and sit on our arms and face. It DID NOT WORK. Use Deep-Woods OFF for "Ticks" spray (and other pests). Now that works.
