They contain the same proven liquid formula as TERRO's indoor baits, giving ants no choice but to feast on the see-through bait wells. The tiered bait pack boosts consumption, and reinforced ridges add strength to the stakes. Each stake contains 0.25 oz. of liquid bait, and 8 stakes come per pack. With this effective outside-in approach, ants won't march in anytime soon.

So far, so good

It hasn't been 2 weeks yet, which is what the product information states is the expected time line for the ants to be eliminated, but we are seeing a definite reduction in the ant population. The liquid certainly does what it says it will ... ants swarmed to the opening of the stick in eager numbers. In fact, the next day we had to remove dead ants that were blocking the entrance. We'll see what the end result will be but so far, the problem does seem to be under control.

Q: Is this safe to use in a vegetable garden? I have ants in my vegetable garden.

A: I think this product is only meant to be used indoors and away from pets, animals, and food. I would recommend pouring a lot of water on the source of where the ants are coming from in the garden.

Q: Not sure how this works? Are the ants supposed to crawl inside where you break of the tab? The tab is not easy to break off as indicated. Once it is broken off, there is only a small hole, not sure an ant could get inside. Should I make it bigger?

A: The ants will be able to crawl up and inside the bait station once the tab is broken off. It can also be cut with scissors. It does not need to be made larger.
