Taylor Weather Station

The Taylor wireless weather station is easy to set up and very accurate . Just make sure you install the 2 Triple A batteries in the base 1st then in the outdoor sensor . Very handy and more reliable than the weather newscast on TV . My mom loves this item !

Don't lose the receipt you will want to return it

This product right out of the box read pressure 200 points lower and remains weeks that way and no where close to results published by Environment Canada. Contacted Taylor customer service and was told there is no calibration and to live with it!! Said just watch the rising and falling trends and ignore the numbers. Cant return as my better half tossed the receipt. My neighbor has a a competitors and it matches within 2 points of the numbers meteorologists publish. Customer service kicked me to the curb!! Buyer beware

No, I do not recommend this product.

Do not buy!!!

Got one. The outdoor temperature reading was off by 20 degrees Celsius and then stopped connecting within a few hours. I reset the device many times, switched the batteries and googled for trouble shooting. Nothing worked. Returned it for a new one. The outdoor temperature will not connect to the device which makes it absolutely useless for telling outdoor temperature. Do not buy!

Q: The unit is supposed to display the temperature in Fahrenheit as well as Celsius but there’s no option to change it to Celsius? Unless I missed something, I will be returning the unit.

  • A: You must do a quick press of the DOWN button to toggle between C and F. I did not see it in the manual at first, but discovered it by accident pressing buttons at random. I did find it later in the manual, after carefully re-reading it. I feel they could have highlighted this step of setup better.

  • A: Did it work at all, ever? I have had the remote sensor device on similar units fail. If new batteries don't result in a display, perhaps, the wifi or sensor device has malfunctioned.

  • A: Try bringing them close together. Once the display shows the temp, then put the sensor outside. Avoid metal/large objects in between.

  • A: When you reach the alarm setting by pressing the Mode button, clicking the Up button will bring the alarm to On or Off position. The On position will look like small 3rd dot between hour and minutes display.
