Tattler Lids are superior

After doing a lot of research, we decided to buy these in order to be more environmentally friendly and in order to save money in the long run. The conventional metal lids are a waste of money and just end up in the landfill and increase the cost of each canning operation. We own a farm and plan to use Tattler lids exclusively. I've read reviews on the net about the lids coming loose but I suspect that improper heads pace and allowing too much time to cool were the issues. Read the instructions and watch a few youtube videos before using these lids. They are FAR SUPERIOR in every way to the conventional metal lids.
I am disappointed that Canadian Tire doesn't ever seem to have more than a very limited stock of these lids at any one time. I need Canadian Tire to buy A LOT of these and have a sale for all of my canning friends who would buy these if they could find them!!

Réutilisable à l'infini, par contre très difficile de trouver la grandeur standard.
Ces couvercles fonctionnent avec les bagues des pots mason.
Je les utilise pour mes conservés à l'autoclave.

I tried this after seeing them on YouTube and reading about them on the Internet. They are my choice for all my future canning, both water bath and pressure canning. They are BPA-free.

A: The rubber rings (gaskets) are made from a food grade nitrile rubber and contain no latex. Yes they can withstand vinegar.
