utilisé depuis 2 ans, j'en ai 3 et 2 ont passé tout l'hiver a l'extérieur et fonctionnent toujours. Je les utilisent pour ma chasse à l'ours et détecte bien chaque mouvement. Un ours, un écureuil, un lièvre, un moineau, des corneilles, elles prends tout ce qui passe devant, jour comme nuit. 8 piles AA et j'ai au dessus de 6000 photos d'enregistré et pas encore a la moitié des batteries.très satisfait pour le prix payé.

One out of Two Ain't Bad

Bought a 2 pack of this trail camera in March 2023 while they were on sale . One stopped taking photos/videos after 2 months (have gone through all the trouble shooting suggestions) even though the display screen shows it is ready to shoot. The other camera has worked flawlessly. I guess that's why they came in a 2 pack.

Purchased these and had them in the woods for a month, went and checked them and they took and few pics and then stopped taking pics, changed the batteries and it turned on once but would not take pics, and now just won't turn on, GARBAGE.

great product for 18 months

I was a huge fan of the double pack of cameras. Way better battery life than my earlier model though not as good pictures. Definitely acceptable though. After 18 months use, both cameras now take pictures every couple of minutes continuously, therefore killing the batts and filling up 4gb card. Resetting doesn't correct nor formatting. Now they're bookends.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: you will need to take sd card out to view pictures. other than that being a possible draw back, this camera is worth the money when on sale for sure. they are so easy to program, literally maybe 15 seconds once you have done it a few times. the picture quality is fair to good, and better than some of the more expensive bigger name, higher priced cameras i own. not as many bells and whistles as other cameras, but if your looking for a camera that will take a fair picture to let you know whats out there i recommend it. i own 35 cameras. of those 35 at least half are these tascos and are the ones i use the most.

A: I can't say for sure because I don't know when it's that cold, but my batteries last over a year even through the winter. And it is taking pictures all winter long.

A: there is no display. on this camera. other than that being a bit of a drawback, these cameras are worth the money. quick and easy to program, quality and reliability for the most part is good. i find a person does not need a phd to program. simple and quick. only draw back i think, is when the camera is set on 3 photo function, second and third pictures are not as bright as the first one. i have a few more big name brand trail cameras, that given a choice, the tascos are the ones i will use first.

Q: How often does the cameras take a picture if deer are there for a long period of time? ie: can you set the camera to 1 pic per minute? 1 pic per 30 seconds etc

Q: The specs say 12 AA batteries and the 'expert' says 8 AA? Which is it? Also, what is the 'lowest' temperature these can operate in? Only the 'highest' temperature is specified? Canadian winters can get very cold!

A: These cameras take a maximum of 8AA batteries. They can run on 4 batteries just for basic setup etc., but we highly recommend installing all 8 batteries for more reliable performance. We also recommend using Duracell or Energizer brand alkaline batteries or for best results, use lithium AA batteries. The unit will work at a range of temperatures from -10C (which is the limitation of the batteries) up to 60C.

Q: The advertising for this product indicates it is 12mp while on the back of the unit on the label it is clearly marked 8mp. What is it 8 or 12?
