Okay so I bought this expensive duct tape thinking I was getting better than duct tape I tried sticking it to multiple surfaces I tried to get it to adhere to metal insulation board plastic you name it I tried to stick it to it and the only thing it would stick to is itself I don't recommend I think that T-Rex needs to go back to the drawing boards on duct tape

Q: I have a few cracks on my chimney capping cement where water gets in and if it freezes will spald off brick. Will this tape stick and seal to cement. Trying to buy some time until I can get someone out to look and repair it before the freeze/snow come.

A: Thank you for your question! T-Rex tape would not be recommended for this application. A cement sealant may offer better protection.

Q: Can I use this on a metal tent trailer roof? I need to repair the seams along either side and down the middle. the caulking is old, and I think it might be part of the reason for leak ( bigger reason being that I have to replace the vent).

A: T-Rex duct tape would be an excellent temporary repair tape for this. Make sure the surface is dry and free of debris to ensure a good seal. This would be considered a temporary repair (6month to a year).
