Product Details
A colander is a kitchen essential for rinsing berries, draining pasta, and washing and draining fruits and vegetables. This handy plastic colander has large slots for quick draining and feet that raise the bowl so it can drain completely so the food won't be sitting in liquid when the colander rests on a surface. The side grips have a rubberized surface that offer a secure hold, even when the colander or your hands are wet or greasy. This has a three-quart capacity, so there's plenty of room to drain noodles for your favorite pasta salad, yet it's not too bulky. Q: What is the distance from below the bowl to the flat end? IOW, when it is on a table is there a finger's space before it touches the tabletop? Hope it does not sit too low otherwise the water will not go in drain fast enough and food will be contaminated.
