Perfect for one teenager

I bought this for my son about a month ago, and so far it works very well. I feel much less nervous now that my son no longer deep fries in a pot on the stove. It's small and compact, it will cook enough for about 2 people or one teenager per batch. The price has doubled since I bought it, however, it was purchased Black Friday. No regrets, I would buy it again.

I bought this a few months ago when it was on sale but only now decided to use it. Lights come on but oil does not heat up. Unfortunately I just threw the receipt away so I can't return it now.

A: Once the unit has cooled down, you can take the oil out and wipe out the inner part as well as clean the lid. Thank you

A: It does come off the fryer (now?) It's a bit spring loaded. Lift it straight up, and then pull it forward slightly as you lift the entire thing up and off. Too bad mine came without a manual, but it can be found online
