Bon produit mais ça coule!

J'aime que le produit soit facile à utiliser et les réglages de température étaient un must pour moi. Malheureusement, l'une des fenêtres coule après quelques semaines d'utilisation seulement! Je peux toujours utiliser le produit mais avec un petite quantité d'eau seulement... De plus, j'ai la crainte que la fuite d'eau fasse court-circuiter la bouilloire! :-(

Expensive for lasting 6 Months

Works well for only 6 months, then the temperature will stop. Not worth time, energy or effort to attempt to go to a repair facility that is no where near anyone rural. Hampton Beach has better warranty and better customer service.

2 years of light use-started leaking

Purchased and used it for two years. Paid more to get the variable temperature settings. Then it started leaking through the clear section where you can note the water level. Complained to T-Fal, they acknowledged my message, no response. Didn't buy another T-Fal!

Mauvaise expérience

Cette bouilloire T-Fal Avante Pro acheté en janvier 2018 est déjà défectueuse, après 15 mois d'utilisation. Acheté chez Canadian tire (60-65$) en spécial. Par contre j'ai beaucoup apprécié la possibilité de choisir la température de l'eau( pour faire du thé). L'entreprise de réparation accrédité par T-Fal m'a dit que les coûts de réparation seraient plus élevés que l'achat de la même bouilloire mais neuve. Alors j'ai acheté une autre bouilloire neuve mais d'une autre marque. Je me suis posé les questions suivantes: IL y a-t'il un lien entre le coût d'achat d'un produit et sa durer d'utilisation ? Peut-on avoir des produits plus durable? Aurais-je dû allez chez Canadian Tire pour le service ?

I loved this kettle until it started leaking from the base. Less than 2 years. Not just drips.....puddle of water. So unsafe.

Q: Are the buttons labeled in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit? Product description says temperatures in Celsius. Bought one the day from Canadian Tire and it only displays Fahrenheit. Perhaps unlucky stock. May I exchange for a Celsius version?

A: This newer model has left the C/F behind and it is now based on white tea, green tea, and black teas, with various adjustability between them for blended teas, with the temperature knob displaying icons for each type of tea. For coffee, it's generally boil to the black tea level.

Q: Is the power really only 500W? Under the Features section, it shows Power: 500W. I hope that's not correct.

A: The design of the kettle must have been tweaked since the previous two answers were posted >2 yr ago. The level indicator window is now marked at 0.7, 1.0, and 1.7 litres. The photo shows a new kettle containing 1.5 litres of water as decanted from a 500 ml Pyrex measuring cup. Another 200 ml of water raised the level to just a hair below the 1.7 litre line.

A: It's a stainless steel kettle. The water level windows, inside of the lid, the base, and the knob are plastic.

A: Yes, the element is concealed. You just see the flat stainless steel bottom. It's an expensive product and a good brand. I don't think they would've made it with the spiral element visible.
