bought it about 1.5 years ago. used exactly 3 times. The 3rd time it started smoking and throwing sparks after about 5 minutes of use. Don't buy!!!

Best Air fryer for items that can be stirred

Have been using mine for several years. User needs to keep in mind this air fryer has a shelf life. (You WILL eventually get the teflon from the unit ending up in your food)... if you ask me, still worth it to that point. To bad Tgal didn't just put a shelf life on the unit... Unfortunately, I believe this product has been discontinued.

J’ai reçu cette friteuse en cadeau il y a 2 ans. J’ai dû faire changer le moteur après un an et j’ai dû acheter également un autre agitateur. Nous nous servions de la friteuse environ 2 fois par semaine. Le couvercle de la friteuse ferme une fois sur 5, il faut la laisser chauffer au moins 7 minutes avant de mettre les frites et tout le long de la cuisson, ça cogne à l’intérieur de l’actifry. Nous aimons beaucoup les frites cuites mais nous ne sommes jamais certains que celle-ci va fonctionner. Très décevant! On doit s’en acheter une autre car celle-ci va aller à la poubelle mais nous achèterons certainement un autre produit.

Stopped working

This fryer worked very well and I would have recommended it but it stopped working in less than 1 year with very little use. Hats off to C.T for issuing full refund with no trouble.

Q: Aren’t you supposed to be able to select a cooking time????

A: DEAD WRONG. The times are posted on the lid as SUGGESTIONS ONLY. (The timer, built in with some models. is just a clock.) The unit is NOT AUTOMATIC so you cannot "select" cook times and expect it to work like a rice-cooker. You have to turn it OFF manually or your food will burn to ASHES. Canadian Tire should not give misleading answers like this to its customers. So much for its bally-hoo "Tested" label !
