A Good Alarm Clock at a Great Price

I got this alarm clock on clearance. It does everything its supposed to do. It has two alarms that can be set to decently loud volumes. The FM and AM radio are surprisingly very clear. It can also preset 10 channels but this is tedious to do. One of this product is that the backup batteries (2 AAA batteries not included) are only meant to save your settings in case the power goes out. That means that the alarm clock and radio does not function on the battery power alone. This is why I would give it 4.5/5 stars. All in all, still a great alarm clock for its price. Would buy again.

Très satisfait de ce réveil : simple à comprendre et à régler, je vois bien les chiffres sans qu'il n'éclaire trop la pièce durant la nuit, économique, son assez fort. Bref, fait tout ce qu'on peut normalement demander à un réveil-matin.

Q: the clock Is the curtis am/fm clock radio on electricsity or on batteries?

A: There is a compartment for a 9-volt battery in this unit. However, the unit will not function on battery power alone (at least mine doesn't); the battery merely saves the time (and alarm) setting(s) in the event that there's an interruption in power, but the unit is effectively dead while running on battery power alone.

A: The battery (DC 1.5V x 2 AAA) is only for clock back up. It does not support Radio & Alarm function. The unit must be connected to the AC adaptor for the radio and the alarm to work.
