Better than equivalent incandescent!

Hard to believe but these 60w equivalent, 800 lumen bulbs are actually brighter than the 60w, 800 lumen incandescents I was replacing! Plus they still have the pleasant, warm light that I like from incandescents for the cozy effect. I wish I could get some in 100w equivalent for some living room lamps that have to light up a pretty large area. But for replacing ceiling lights that you want reasonably bright (kitchen, for example) where the existing bulbs are only 100w, you can do what I did and replace the fixture with one that takes two 60w bulbs and use these LED bulbs to get really good but warm light.

Great LED dimmable option!

First time trying this Sylvania Ultra LED bulb - it's fantastic so far. We needed to replace the bedroom bulb and my partner actually loved the soft white colour it emits which changed the ambience of the room (a lot warmer & cozier), as we're used to cool colours. We only use LED bulbs as we're fans of energy & cost efficient options - and we've been pleased so far with this product. For those who are unfamiliar - LEDs emit little to no heat so it's safe to touch; they last super long (this one lasts 22.8 years apparently) meaning they can potentially outlive you and they're perfect for those hard to reach lights; they contain no mercury, etc.
This option is great that it is versatile for indoor or outdoor use and it's dimmable!
For those worried about cost, Cdn Tire always has great sales, but you can also visit saveonenergy.ca for printable coupons good for all year around on LEDs - $3-$8 off! But the fact you won't have to change it for 22 years - you're saving money overall; even on a daily basis on your hydro bill - it also uses less energy per day than incandescent bulbs.

Bright and long-lasting!

I am using this light bulb in a bathroom light socket because I hate having to change bulbs, and I love that this one is going to be good for twenty or more years! It's also nice and bright, which is very important to me - I dislike dim lighting when I'm trying to look in the mirror, and this bulb works well. So far I am very pleased, and I expect to be for years to come!

I love these LED light bulbs! we recently got one and just love it it gives out a nice warm light which looks really nice compared to the other LED bulbs we were using before that were giving out like a dull white light, we definitely are going to be switching more of our light bulbs in our house to this one. I really love that it's dimmable, costs about $1.08 per year and is supposed to last 22 years - so awesome!
