Dead after 2 years and 2 months

2 years and 2 months later and the TV isn’t displaying an image, not surprised looking at all the other reviews. Main board is dead, backlight is fine but not receiving power. Curtis PLEASE don’t rely with your “sorry the item didn’t meet your expectations”, as cold as a bot auto relying… Maybe spend a few bucks to write 10-20 generic responses or better yet next time buy some quality parts to build your PCBs so you don’t need to auto reply, brilliant!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

A: It was purchased as a gift a while ago. The instructions should help and your cable company also has their own instructions as well if your trying to pair it up to the cable remote. Failing that I would reach out to sylvania customer service or you may find instructions on google. Hope that helps.

A: Unfortunately you will have to use 2 remotes. The remote that came with the TV to control the on/off power, and the volume. And the remote that came with the external receiver to change channels and access the receiver’s menu.

Q: Does the amazon fire stick work with this tv? I have a 10 year old Sanyo tv that works fine with the fire stick. I was told as long as a tv has HDMI jacks and wifi no problems. I just read the reviews on the Sylvania and not firestick computable?
