Product Details

The Superior Pump (Model #91250) is a 1/4 HP submersible thermoplastic utility pump designed for efficient and reliable water removal. Its compact design allows it to fit into openings as small as 6-in and pump water down to a level of 1/4-in. This pump is versatile and easy to use. UL/CUL listed and CSA certified, it is backed by a 1-year limited warranty. For added convenience, an optional float switch (sold separately) can be attached to use this utility pump as a sump pump.

good pump but wrong size for my use

Pump is probably a good one, but unfortunately it was about 1/3 inch too big to fit into the tank that I was going to use it for pumping from. Can't say how well it would have worked, but based on the flow rates, etc i should have been a good one t0 use.

maybe good pump, DOES NOT fit into a 6" opening

I picked this up in order to pump water from a "carrier tote" into a couple of totes set up by the house and the barn. This pump was selected as it claims to fit inside a 6" opening which would allow me to drop the pump into the tote that was in the truck or the trailer and pump out to the other totes. I got it home ready to pump, lo and behold - it didn't fit into the 6" opening on the tote. Have to return it in the morning and get something else that will work. Fortunately Canadian Tire has a great return policy. I am sure the pumps works fine but unfortunately not for me - hence the 3 stars as I have to make another trip to the store and come up with something else.

Yes, I recommend this product.
