Good for the price; specifically with the 29% off! It does the job and the gear change mechanism works good for my daughter and haven't heard complaint from her or heard chain noise. The only tricky part is placing it on the bicycle rack as I ended up placing the rack bar right under suspension spring coil!

A: I bet you could but I don't recommend it as it is a reasonably small bike. I would suggest a tag-along bike to help "Supercycle Ride-A-Long Bike Trailer". This will help teach your child to peddle; it is much easier to get started and stopped.
