The two training wheels never tightened. I tried to do it again and again, but it instantly loosened by itself while riding, which is so dangerous for kids.

Q: I needed to raise the handlebars, and loosened the stem bolt, but the bolt is not long enough to tighten back up once the handlebars are raised.

A: Yes, the handlebar can be raised by adjusting the stem height. To do this, loosen the stem bolt until the handlebar stem can be moved up or down to the desired height. Then tighten the bolt until the stem is secured in the frame.
