Disappointed with this soaker. Leaks like a sieve!

Bought this less than a month ago and right from the first fill-up (today 6/12/2018)out of the package, the blaster leaked from the junction at the bottom of the water tank (blue) and the compression section (white). To see my granddaughter's face go from excited to totally bummed out was heartbreaking for me. Always heard from other parents that the super soaker brand was the best to get but I guess they were wrong when this product turned me from hero to zero for this little girl.
No, I do not recommend this product.
