Good-looking gazebo with nice features
My wife and I were excited to receive our gazebo in order to take refuge from the sun and biting mosquitos. It arrived packaged pretty well with all parts included and only minimal damage (a slight bent cross member here, a nick to paint there). Nothing worth fussing over. Assembly was easy enough for two people (necessary) and took us novices about 3 hours. The zippers on the curtains and the mosquito nets can be a little tricky to get started so be mindful to be gentle and patient. It is as advertised in that it is water-resistant but not waterproof. Also, the canvas roof has deliberate grommets punched through the canvas roof near the edges (2 per side for a total of 8) which must be to drain pooling rainwater to relieve weight as that does occur when it rains. So, keep this in mind when placing items within that you don’t want to get wet. We had hoped we could avoid using our furniture covers once our furniture was positioned within the gazebo but alas we will still need to use the covers as an extra precaution from the seat cushions getting wet when it rains. I will be getting a can of black Rustoleum paint to touch-up any exposed metal from any chipping or scratches that occur as rusting will occur to exposed metal. All-in-all, it’s a very nice gazebo and a good value worthy of 4 out of 5 stars.
