The Sunbeam GoHeat USB Powered Heating Pad allows you to choose your power source* for pain relief on the go. The compact heating pad uses a type A USB connector that is compatible with Your Own power bank, computer, car USB port, or the included bonus wall adapter. The 58-inch extension cord allows you to move freely and go cordless by connecting to Your Own power bank (not included) and placing it into the integrated pocket. The 12.5 x 7.5-inch (31.8 x 19.1 cm) flexible pad neatly rolls to fit into small bags and purses or the included bonus storage bag. A 55-inch (139.7 cm) adjustable strap brings secure, targeted heat therapy to your back, arms, legs, or shoulders, and 3 heat settings offer customized treatment. The Micromink pad and adjustable strap are fully machine washable for easy care—just disconnect from extension cord and power source. Lousy!

Elastic band stretches in use to a /2" wide ribbon, does not keep the device connected to your back except in that very narrow ribbon. Takes 5 hours to charge; and subbeam won't sell extra batteries. I'd need three to get through the day, along with supplemental belt to keep the whole thing in contact with my back. Fully charged, lowest heat level is too low, highest level is way too hot & middle level only gives 2 hours of heat

No, I do not recommend this product.

Won’t work

This product has stopped working. I plug it in and it doesn’t heat. I have not exposed it to heat, cold, water or any dry cleaning. It sat be itself on a shelf. When I took it off the shelf and plugged it in, to I could use it, it didn’t heat up. I’m very disappointed!

Love It!

My husband stole it yesterday while recovering from a kidney stone procedure and just now took it again. It’s wrapped around and warming his left kidney. I’ve had my Sunbeam heating pad for a few years and love it. Of course it’s not rechargeable so I use a power bank. I often carry it when I travel. I warm up my hands and/or feet when trying to sleep and often pull it against my chest and once warm, I fall right to sleep. We go to Mexico yearly and there are no furnaces, so it’s very important to have. Not incentivized.

Did not work with battery pack

Provided adequate heat when plugged in but did not work at all when connected to a battery pack. I ensured that the battery pack was properly charged and provided the recommended power output

Q: What kind of battery or power is required to use it portably? Or is it just charged with the USB and there’s an internal battery that keeps it going when not plugged in?

A: There is no internal battery. To use it portably, u have to plug in the USB charger to a battery pack. The battery pack fits inside a small pouch attached to the pad. Works extremely well and quite hot on highest setting, very comfortable as well. The other power source is a 2 prong wall plug that can also plug into a vehicles accessory plug.
