    Such A very Good Product

I love this product. I go to Rock LAKE Manitoba at least 5 times a season. I have caught massive fish with these with no problem. I once caught a 2' long NORTHERN PIKE. It was a euphoric feeling pulling that sucker out of the ice. I would recommend that you drill at least 15 holes per person. Just make sure you don't drill them around your truck because you could sink that thing right to the bottom of the lake.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Jai acheter 2 de ces brimbale il y a quelques année. La qualité de fabrication est douteuse aux mieux et elle sont plutôt complexe d'utilisation.

Needs a lot of adjustment but worth it

PLEASE READ - It will save you a fish! The product description says you can adjust the trip setting, there is no such adjustment. These come with NO instructions. I found that these had to be setup quite a bit to make them work right. The screw holding the reel on isn't tight at all (had to replace with a bolt) and the wire trips appear to be bent by hand so one didn't work at all. All is pretty easy to do. BUT - To save yourself a fish! I wanted to see how much line was on the reel, turns out there is about 75 feet on the reel of strong black braid (perhaps 30 pound?). But it has not been tied onto the reel properly, so when you get to the end of the line a few tugs and it comes untied, I think it was just two regular bow-knots. I highly suggest that you unspool the line, tie it on properly, then re-spool. Overall though, these are great value for the money.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Q: two pack How do you run the line through the sub zero tip ups and tie the hook on?

A: You don't run the line though the tip-up, it just hangs off the reel. For reels oriented this way, the weight of your jig should keep things spooled properly. You want to tighten the screw holding the reel on until it spins only with a slight tug on the line (otherwise your bait will just sink to the bottom). I put a rubber washer under mine to make it more adjustable. When the reel turns it knocks a wire hook off the springy metal flag which then jumps up in the air.

A: Turn the two arms to create a cross. Run the line through the guide and engage the flag and then insert the Tip up into the hole.
