Low quality material

Broke in half after tightening on the same day as purchased. Metal is of very low quality. Can not handle very much tension. Would not recommend.

Q: Can this be used on an umbrella type clothesline?

A: The tightener is made to be use with regular clothesline. Outdoor dryer or umbrella style, we can’t guaranty that this will hold correctly.
