This product is easy to install and looks great. Hint: to better ensure they are stable, I first put some sand (sandbox sand) down before placing the border pieces, which prevents them from moving easily. Am hoping that this will remain consistent throughout all 4 weather seasons.

A: Hello. Spikes is not needed for stomp edging you just need to pound them into the ground.

Q: Can you weed whack these and if so, did any marking happen on the recycled material? The mower would get close but I would imagine you still have to touch up!

A: So far we have weed whacked only once since installing them. Did not see any problem. Will be a couple of weeks before we do it again.

Q: What is smallest inside diameter when circling a tree?

A: This is an interesting question, one which I have not thought to work out. I bought enough to for a 7' diameter circle because the tree I bought grows out that far at maturity. The current tree space is 5' across & I could make this product work for that dimension. In my opinion, anything smaller would not look right; based on my experience in landscaping & road construction.

A: I'm not sure of this question. How is each block constructed? They are plastic, and you press them into the ground. They work pretty well.

A: Yes you can. I wrote a review and uploaded a pic of a bed we just changed from a huge perennial bed to a teardrop shape one with shrubbery. However my review is not there ... at least not yet anyway We had to alter the size to get it to fit ... We got it to less than a centimeter gap at the final join, which I can live with.
