Very well built rifle

Very solid build. The stock has a good feel although the complete rifle is a bit on the heavy side. The break is quite hard. Use the knee for a little help. The fiber optic sights are amazing and dead on out of the box. The scope seems of good quality for the price range, and so far has stayed zero'd. Out of the box, the scope was about 2 inches off at 20 yards. It takes alot of turns on the adjuster to bring it home, not just a few clicks. There is no way this rifle gets even close to 495fps. (I don't have a chrono). I'm hoping it will come up as the unit wears in a bit. I have oiled the piston seal, that helped a bit. I have tested the rifle with different brand and weight pellets. All work well. I find that it is quite accurate with 10 plus grain ammo. Over all, I like this rifle alot. 4 stars only because of the pellet speed ( from new).

rusted when not in use over the winter and stored inside. we tried to return it for a full refund but we were told that that was not possible as it had been over 90 days. The defect was the gun metal. they eventually gave us a store credit, which we really appreciated.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good 495fps .177 rifle

This gun is heavy but well made. The power was good enuf to take out small pest birds at about <20 yards (18.29 m) kill zone. The scope I haven’t sighted in yet but it looks of quality, optics clear, tuning easy, aluminum (not plastic), and easy mount dismount, on a dovetail along top, with supplied Allen key. I don’t use the scope to hunt cause I love the fibre optic sights. The optic sights were easy to use. They also light up bright, two green and one red at muzzle. Trigger is a little long for small hands, and takes a harder pull so you have to watch trigger finger placement when squeezing so you aim true (trigger between tip and first knuckle). All in all a great practice shooter without the cost of a explosive rounds of a “real” gun.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Bought the junior model XTac, great if you make a head shot on a squirrel, because then youre gonna have to do the coup-de-grace with your knife to finish him.
