Good flag pole overall I just wish the part that holds the clips were metal.After awhile plastic breaks down and when you try to put a new flag on the plastic part breaks Doesn’t matter how carful your are it will break This has happened to me twice.

A: No. It isn’t that sturdy. I tried to tie the pile to our dock and it didn’t work. Spend the money to get a real flagpole that goes into the ground!

Q: What's the spacing between mounting screw holes?

A: The overall mounting plate size is 21/2" x 31/2". there are four (4) screw positions, on the 21/2" side they are 113/16" center to center while on the 31/2" side they are 25/8" center to center. Note: the mounting hardware that comes with the pole are not strong enough to hold the pole and flag in a strong wind. I used 11/2" Tapcon screws.

Q: Hello, will this kit hold a flag that measures 39"H by 59"W thanks!

A: The largest flag the 6’ spinning pole should take is 36” x 60”. A 27” x 54” flag is the optimal size. The flag shouldn’t be more than 36” deep because the spinning mechanism in the middle of the pole won’t work properly if it is covered. The flag would become easily tangled and it would be difficult to untangle it.

A: Yes you can. You will have to move the bottom flag fastener down the pole to accommodate the longer length of the flag, but the pole will take a 3’ x 5’ flag.
