Excellent Night Vision Cam!

I saw this NV cam on the CT website but when I went to pick it up at the store, it was the same price but a newer model...which was very nice. The battery compartment was located at the base where your hand would keep the batteries warm if need be. Also has a tripod mount. It was difficult to focus the diopter but one review said if you wear your glasses... that made all the difference. Photos and video were excellent, day or night. The night vision setting was sharp and loved the 3x zoom. I would easily be able to detect anyone or anything at great distance lurking on my property. Although the red infrared light is not very stealthy it can only be seen at certain angles I have found, and on the positive side lets an intruder know you can see them. It would have been nice if there was a time stamp and the NV takes more battery power so I purchased some rechargeable batteries. After giving this a fair trial over a few days, I am pleased with this purchase.

This product is not as advertised. The product skew on the unit was different than the skew on the box. The night vision is supposed to be supported by ( IR) infra red beam, but the unit didn’t have a beam.
Also, other reviewers on the product website reported very clear images during daylight hours but the unit I purchased was very blurry and foggy. Additionally, it did not zoom either. I would not recommend this product. The only positive was the casing design . It was on sale, discounted to less than US pricing for the same product on their website. I returned the unit to Canadian Tire and received a no hassle refund. That is one of the reasons I enjoy shopping at Canadian Tire South Whitby.
The camo hats were a hit when I gifted to my friends! 5 star for them.

Stealth cam issue

I had to return the monocular.It looked good for the price but would only turn on if I put pressure on the battery door to make batteries conduct power.I liked what I saw through the lens but holding the battery door shut means they will likely all malfunction that way eventually
