Got these as a housewarming gift. Worked well as a pot holder. As time went on I realized how awesome they were. When using them with something that had sauce or was greasy they could be easily cleaned unlike cloth holders which became stained. Could either wipe them off, wash them with the dishes or throw them in the dishwasher. Were great for holding meat steady while cutting roasts and hams. Now my go to housewarming gift
