Great idea, unreliable performance

This opener is a great idea with safety in mind, and it is made from quality materials. I found it inconsistent in how it opened cans, and within a couple of weeks it no longer seemed to work reliably. It attaches, locks on to the can, and will turn, but sometimes you'll spin it around and around and find that it won't actually open the can, or even pierce it. It went in the garbage.
