Starfrit canning jar lifter

It works great to manage the canning jars through the canning process, but it is flimsy and fell apart at one point. I managed to put it back together, but it left me feeling insecure about using it safely. Not good value for the money.

On the 4th time in use they came apart at the hinge. I was able to fix the hinge pin with glue. Otherwise they work fine.
