Handy Helper!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve own many Stanley tools over time, but the one I hold with me everyday is the 6ft FATMAX Keychain. When I needed to make small quick measurements, I always had the Fatmax in hand! After all this time, the measuring tape still retracts and the casing is still intact. Ive only had 2 issues with this measuring tape ever and 1 of them is entirely my fault. The 1st issues is that the “keychain” links are a bit weak. If it were to snag on something a couple of times, it will unlink and you might end up losing it without noticing. I fixed this problem by welding the end links together. The 2nd issues I had is that since I had this measuring tape for a while, it gets dirty. I tried to clean the measuring tape and accidentally wiped away some of the measurement indicators. Overall great tool to have and I’ll be picking up another one soon

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I saw this when they first came out with this "cute" tape, I had already owned three other Stanley tapes, so I had to have it. It has been in my pocket since, it wound up being my "go to tape".

Everyday-Carry Essential

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this little tape measure for almost a year now I keep it ad part of my everyday carry. For before during and after work. I use it for blueprints when i have to layout boxes and especially when im nowhere near my tools or my fatmax 25 footer. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because it needs to have a magnetic tip for working with conduit and metal studs and a stronger chain. I must have broken that almost 20 times everytime it catches on anything even my toolbelt. It definetly wouldnt hurt to have a scale on the back for when using measuring items on blueprints.
