Light, comfortable, and not too cold in the winter

Wearing this for volunteer work in a warehouse, and home renovation. I don't need the ankle protection of a boot - not since university summer jobs. Easy as hikers to wear these. I was worried wearing them outside in winter that the steel would suck all the warmth away from my foot, but a good pair of wool socks and I was fine for the 2 hours I was out in -20ºC. Donated my old boots to Dropin Centre

Q: Non-Slip? Are these shoes non-slip? And what are all of the other safety ratings on it?

1 Answer
  • A: 1. The outsole is rubber, so yes, it has traction and grip but we never make the statement that the product is non-slip because the all the possible conditions the footwear could be used for. 2. They are grade 1 CSA for impact test 3. Which means the hiker has a protective toe and a protective plate 4. And they have ESR.

Q: Material of Boots What are these shoes made of. Are they leather, suede, synthetic/man made materials or a combination of both? Apparently it does not say on the shoe.

1 Answer
  • A: The uppers on these boots are made with water repellent nubuck leather and 1600 denier nylon. The boots have a hard TR rubber toe cap, composite toe and plate. They also feature a pu midsole and rubber outsole for superior comfort and traction.
