As the title says, along with the other reviews. Inaccurate and misleading. If you like burning money, just set your card or cash on fire. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Agree with some of the other statements posted. No model number shown on unit or paperwork is first warning sign. Does not state what standard it is built to - either ISO or ASME. Examples of torque settings is so wrong - 40 inch pound example shows 49, 231 shows 238, 53 shows 58, 20.75 NM shows 22.57 and 24.9 shows about 26.5 - totally unacceptable for examples. Used it once and was suspicious of what it was telling me - never used it again and threw it in the recycle bin this morning. Do not purchase - but this is self rectified as it is discontinued.

    Disappointed

I ruined both the fork and the engine on my motorcycle using this brand new torque wrench. After testing the wrench, I realized it was not working at all. I suggest testing it before using it !!!

Scale incorrect and torque extremely inaccurate

Impulse buy on clearance; I should’ve read the reviews. Will return to store. Scale on handle is out of calibration(when "0" is shown on the micro-adjustment dial, it's nowhere near the 0-base measure on the shaft) and, while the shaft scale goes up by 20 inch-pounds, the micro-adjustment ring confusingly goes from 0 to 9. I tested torque against another torque wrench. Set to it's lowest 30 inch-pounds, it refused to click until close to 10 FOOT pounds--- that's 120 inch pounds! This could easily destroy bolt heads/threads on machinery.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Confusing adjustment

The examples in the manual are either wrong or completely confusing me. What seems to be 39lb-in is marked as 40, 238 as 231, 117 as 126, 58 as 53. Go figure. Without looking at the manual the tool seems simple enough but the scale goes up by 20lbs increment and the precision dial is labelled 0 to 9. But 1 spin of it increase the tension by 20lbs on the scale. So I think you have to multiply the adjustment dial by 2?

No, I do not recommend this product.
