Installed 2000 sqft of engineered in my place and another 1000 sqft of 3/4 inch oak in my dad's house and it never missed a beat.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

      good for light use

I bought this Flooring nailer on the weekend and have been satisfied with it's use. I have no problems with jammed cleats (have not used Staples) and it's simple to operate. My only concern thus far is the guide to align the cleats. When I took it out of the package the cleats were loose and with the spring loaded mechanism to maintain firing, the cleats would slip beside the spring loaded mechanism causing a misfire. Once I understood the problem a few taps to bend the guide tighter to the loading arm and that fixed the problem. I would rate this a 4 out of 5 for light home use.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

J'ai fais tout mes planchers sans le moindre soucis. Très bonne qualité. Le seul reproche que je pourrais faire à ce produit c'est qu'il vient sans coffre pour le ranger... sinon, rien à dire à part que j'en suis très satisfait !

      Questions

      1 - 6 of 6 Questions

Q: Should I use 1-1/2" staple or 2" staple for 3/4" hardwood floor I read somewhere that the staple should not penetrate through the subfloor. So is 2 inch too long?

      1 Answer
      • A: Please contact the manufacturer of the hardwood floor being installed for specific directions regarding fastener size.

Q: Where do you put the lubricating oil? The operating instructions do not indicate where to lubricate the flooring nailer. I called Stanley's customer service number and they could not find the tool model in their records.
