    Q: Running a compressor Will this power inverter run a 2hp 5 gallon air compressor with my car battery?

    • A: No, not enough power. Volts x Amps = Watts. Look at the label on the compressorit will tell you the information needed. Your compressor I would think would need a 2000 watt inverter which would kill a car battery in about 5 mins with the power needs.
