Q: Just purchased this cabinet and when unboxing it, I noticed a warning sticker on the back about the product potentially causing exposure to a substance which can cause cancer and or reproductive harm. It is a California notice. Should one be concerned?

A: Thank you for sharing your question. Regarding your inquiry, this label is part of the California Prop65 compliance. The chemical listed (DEHP) is a common plastisizer used in the production of plastic parts to make them softer for molding. This chemical appears on the list of chemicals that are required to be called out on a label for Prop65.
