Picked up an older MasterCraft 052-0052-2 meter on the used market, and these leads surprisingly fit better than the stock ones, and are of better quality. Bravo, somebody in purchasing at Canadian Tire. The tip caps that came with mine have holes in the end, so rather than being protective caps, they seem to be designed to allow probing in tight situations, allowing about 3mm of tip to project so you don't accidentally contact the wrong conductors.

GENTLEMEN l, welcome back to the shop, do we've got a treat in stock for you! Today we replace the original leads on a cheap multimeter with right skookum units. Humour me, you'll see the cables have molded strain-reliefs around the base. The handles are nice, feel good in the hand, less like a pair of chopsticks and more like a jumbo permanent texter! Overall, beautiful product, lots of value. Keep your stick on the ice!

Q: Does this work with the old 52-0052 multimeter?

A: There have been a fair number of different meters under this product code. Mine (blue and black 052-0052-2 with transistor test socket, freq, duty cycle and capacitance) fits these leads (as supplied 2025) fine. Bit hard to get the black COM lead out again, but I think this will work in with use.
