Handy accessory if you already own the tester

I already had the Breaker Finder Tool, which is very handy for quickly tracing a receptacle circuit, but this accessory is perfect for adapting it to an outlet that isn't a receptacle....just clip the leads to the bare wires or terminal screw of the device who's circuit you want to trace.

If you screw in the receptacle too deeply it shorts out the hot and neutral. Dont buy this.

I'm a licensed electrician. And this is just an accident waiting to happen. If you read the manual on a breaker when they are shorted they should be replaced. The bigger concern is what happens when the breaker doesn’t trip, and it blows the main or starts arc welding.

a must have if you have the tester

Probably should have been included with the tester because without it , you cant test open circuits without a receptacle and you certainly can’t test light sockets. Kinda important to have. Don’t understand all the negative reviews, i’ve found this tool handy
