Defective Parts

The installers came to put the basketball system together, but the two posts holding everything up wouldn’t fit together. They left saying there was nothing they could do. They said they would send an email to the company.

Good net. HORRIBLE assembly instructions

I bought this 2 week ago and so far it is a thumbs up from my 18 yr old. However... I would have to say the instructions were HORRIBLE. The pictures were way too small to figure out the correct orientation of the various posts and proper hardware to use. I am quite handy and always assemble items we purchase. I find it common to come across poor instructions ....but these were bad. We looked up 4 different people on YOUTUBE ... attempting to assemble this... which was little help ...because even they had problems and assembled pieces incorrectly in their video!?!? I would consider paying to have someone set it up. The final plastic cover tube on the raise/lower pole is on backwards ( since the instructions had zero indication that there was actually a correct orientation for the hole that shows the ht of the net), but in the end the net works, is stable and good quality. Correcting this backwards pole is not worth the aggravation of attempting to get up on the ladder and reinstall it! Aside from the debacle of the assembly instructions, the net itself is great so far.

Great system except…..

Love the system but the stickers used for the height adjustment started pealing/ripping off within a few days. Also, the mechanism for lowering/raising the net seems to be very stiff and not as sturdy as day one and it’s only been a month. Hopefully it doesn’t continue to get worse or maybe it’s an isolated problem and we can get a replacement part?
