A: Yes it can be used as a thinner for pure tung oil to treat garden beds. But make sure you’re using pure tung oil without any additives and the coating is thoroughly cured.

Q: Is this a good product for the outside deck? I want to remove the paint off of the wooden deck.

A: We do not recommend this product for removing paint off a wooden deck as it would not be effective. Instead, we recommend using our Heirloom Furniture Stripper, product # 49-5503. As always, please carefully follow the directions on the label and start with a test patch.
