Q: Can it stay outside all year long? Also how difficult is it for a layperson to assemble? How heavy is the bench when assembled? Thanks a bunch!

A: The bench can stay outside all year round, but it will weather/discolour as is the case with any natural wood product. Also, as it’s not pressure-treated lumber, this weathering may occur earlier or be more pronounced so we do recommend storing out of the elements for the winter months. It is very easy to assemble, requiring only a screwdriver or drill/electric screwdriver. You may find it easier to have 2 people available just to balance some pieces during assembly, but it is approximately a 15-20 minute job to fully assemble (less with 2 people). The fully assembled bench weighs about 64 lbs.
